Yes! Creating an account, browsing listings, and contacting sellers is completely free. Posting basic listings is also free. In the future, we may offer premium features for sellers who want extra visibility, but the core marketplace will always be free.

Yes. All listings are reviewed by our team before publishing. We provide seller ratings, admin verification, and a fraud reporting system so you can buy with confidence.
How does seller verification work?+
Every seller on Open Sauda goes through an admin verification process. We check ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN via DigiLocker), livestock ownership documents, and contact details before their listings go live. Verified sellers get a **green verified badge** on their profile, which helps buyers identify trustworthy traders.
How do I post a listing?+
After signing in, click **+ Post Listing** in the navigation bar. Upload clear photos of your livestock or equipment, select the category, set your price, and add a description. Our AI will suggest an optimized title and description for you. Once submitted, our team reviews your listing within 24 hours before it goes live.
What should I do if I encounter a fraudulent listing?+
Use the "Report" button on any listing. Our safety team investigates within 24 hours and removes suspicious posts. Repeat offenders are banned from the platform.
Can I list farm equipment and tractors on Open Sauda?+
Absolutely. Open Sauda supports listings for tractors, harvesters, farm tools, and other agricultural equipment alongside livestock.
Why was my listing rejected?+
Listings may be rejected for several reasons: unclear or stock photos, inaccurate descriptions, prohibited items (endangered species, stolen goods), unrealistic pricing, or wrong category. You'll receive a notification with the specific reason. Simply fix the issue and resubmit — our team will review it again within 24 hours.
